Who We Are?
For decades, ROSA NGO has been working closely with farmers across Bangladesh — observing their challenges, struggles, and unwavering determination. Even today, most farmers rely on loans from various NGOs to produce their crops. But while the harvest takes 2 to 6 months to bring returns, loan repayments often begin just one week after borrowing.
Lacking financial planning and management skills, many farmers are forced to take new loans from other NGOs to pay old ones — falling into an endless cycle of debt.
When NGO loans become unmanageable, they often turn to local moneylenders, who charge extremely high interest rates.
The struggle doesn’t end there. Farmers frequently buy seeds, fertilizers, and pesticides on credit from local sellers, often at inflated prices — under the condition that they must also sell their harvest back to the same vendors, usually at unfairly low prices.
As a result, farmers become trapped on three fronts:
1. The cycle of NGO loans
2. The trap of high-interest moneylenders
3. The unfair market pricing system
Motivated by these harsh realities, ROSA NGO envisioned a new, ethical, and sustainable solution — giving birth to GrowUp, a Shariah-compliant agro-investment initiative designed to empower farmers, not burden them.
At GrowUp AgroTech, we don’t give loans — we invest.
Farmers no longer pay weekly installments. Instead, they share profits after selling their harvest, ensuring fair returns for both the farmer and the investor.
Beyond investment, GrowUp also provides modern agricultural training, technological assistance, and fair market access — enabling farmers to earn more, live better, and contribute to national food security.
Our Purpose
Our mission is to transform the agricultural ecosystem of Bangladesh by creating a fair, transparent, and sustainable platform where farmers, investors, and consumers grow together. We aim to eliminate exploitative loan systems and replace them with profit-sharing investments that foster empowerment, innovation, and financial freedom for every farmer.
